i love bargaining. i especially love bargaining at christmastime and i love it even more when i don't feel weasily for the (ahem) negotiation. today was such a day when i chitchatted with the owner of a new store on the hill and got offered an off-hand post-MFA job in retail (all signs point to eventual commercial employment) and, upon the purchase of two small gifts for my sisters, got a third not-shabby-at-all gift for some lucky person who would otherwise gone neglected out of seasonal poverty (person has yet to be determined, but i have an idea).

addendum to previous post: once you've started a 20 page paper, how do you finish it?
