it comes and it goes. of this one i can say it was warm and much calmer than anticipated. there were children, none of the family, and they smiled a lot and grabbed at shiny things. at the end my father had great confessions of war and not war and my mom talked through most of it. i liked her better once she hushed and curled into my father's shoulder. there are times to be like that. to let someone talk until they cannot talk.
i cooked a lot and played ping-pong and watched a movie called elf and it was very very christmassy and i laughed loud. i ate and ate and ate and now am very tired too tired to write anymore and i miss sunshine. what is christmas without snowflakes and sunshine.
